  6. Check out pythonbrew ( https://github.com/utahta/pythonbrew ). In my experience, pythonbrew is to virtualenv as rvm is to rbenv.

  7. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned pythonbrew. https://github.com/utahta/pythonbrew It's the Python version of RVM. It is higher level than even virtualenv, and in my opinion, the most seamless way to manage Python environments.
