  1. …it? Until then I'll just keep hoping that the SiriProxy guys can get it working on iOS 7 [1]. [0] https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy [1] https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy/issues/542

  3. …looked into playing around with Siri for home automation stuff also but unfortunately, SiriProxy ( https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy ) doesn't work with iOS 7 yet ( https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy/issues/542 ).

  4. Proxying all traffic through an unknown network is not a good idea. Although https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy isn't currently working with iOS7, it's a better alternative (for iOS6 or whenever it's ready).
  5. You could SiriProxy ( https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy ) as input to this to handle to speech-to-text part I'm running this at home and it works great for adding custom actions to Siri
  6. And with SiriProxy [ https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy ] you could control it all by voice! The future is near!

  7. This article doesn't give enough credit to: https://github.com/plamoni/SiriProxy (without which the Arduino + Siri build wouldn't be possible). Cheers, Marcus (the guy in the article).
