I hope that someday that https://github.com/nixos-bsd/nixbsd will be upstreamed into NixOS, and it will allow much easier switching between Linux and FreeBSD.

I believe that the GNU/kfreebsd stuff is unfortunately fairly abandoned? I am very interested in https://github.com/nixos-bsd/nixbsd and then Redox support and then maybe more in the line of https://github.com/nix-community/redoxpkgs…
