  9. From the readme ( https://github.com/mvp/uhubctl#what-is-usb-per-port-power-sw... ): sudo lsusb -v | grep wHubCharacteristic -A 3 If you see "Ganged power switching" or "Per-port power switching" it has a chance of working.

  14. …this kind of problem. There is a useful CLI tool for resetting individual ports on some hubs ( https://github.com/mvp/uhubctl ) which makes good use of this feature. May not fix everything but works for most use cases.
