This is a cool tool: https://github.com/jarun/buku It's not perfect (it is not synced across devices) but it fills out metadata for you and isn't tied to a browser. Another one (that does sync) is Floccus. https://floccus.org/

I really like the buku terminal bookmark manager. https://github.com/jarun/buku I like that I can just `man buku` when I don't understand something and I can actually find the answer I'm looking for.
