  2. I have the same fascination. You might find https://github.com/dmotz/trystero quite interesting - it's fun to play around with, also can use torrent DHT for discovery.
  3. …stumbling block of WebRTC is the signaling server stuff. STUN/TURN is honestly pretty trivial [0] https://github.com/dmotz/trystero/blob/65fa48e33c82a7d0fa627...

  7. Trystero can do this: https://github.com/dmotz/trystero?tab=readme-ov-file#audio-a... You'd need to make a UI for it
  8. Check out Trystero[1], it makes WebRTC super simple to develop with. [1] https://github.com/dmotz/trystero

  9. I am also curious about the progress on this feature: https://github.com/dmotz/trystero/issues/24 for more info
  10. You might be interested in my side project Trystero https://github.com/dmotz/trystero It abstracts away the work of signaling and connects peers via open decentralized networks like BitTorrent, Nostr, MQTT, IPFS, etc.
  11. If we're talking about great p2p WebRTC libraries, try Trystero: https://github.com/dmotz/trystero

  17. I strongly endorse Trystero ( https://github.com/dmotz/trystero ) for enabling P2P communication in web apps. It’s open source and leverages public infrastructure for matchmaking.

  20. I'm using https://github.com/dmotz/trystero for all the networking, and I don't think it supports p2pcf. If that existed a connection strategy for Trystero, I'd be open to experimenting with it!
  21. Thanks for checking out the project! Chitchatter uses https://github.com/dmotz/trystero for peer connectivity, which doesn't support Tor. I don't know how Tor would be supported in a typical web browser. Have you seen Tor being used…
  22. https://github.com/dmotz/trystero#how-it-works You always need some kind of centralization for discovery with WebRTC.
  23. I recently wrote a library to abstract away the tedious aspects of WebRTC called Trystero: Repo: https://github.com/dmotz/trystero Demo: https://oxism.com/trystero/ The goal is to allow adding P2P/multiplayer to your web app in a few lines…
