Podman supports this since quite a while with the krun variant of the crun runtime ( https://github.com/containers/crun/blob/main/krun.1 ), provided in Fedora by the "crun-krun" package. Just add "--runtime=krun" to your podman command…

It looks like crun already supports krun: https://github.com/containers/crun/blob/main/crun.1.md

In addition to runc, I'd like to point out an alternative OCI runtime implementation, crun ( https://github.com/containers/crun ). You can play with both either directly, or through Podman ( https://podman.io/ ) Useful for cgroups v2 too.

Podman can use runc or their own runtime crun https://github.com/containers/crun so it should be able to work without much drama :tm:
