…So mathematical libraries in WASM reimplement the trigonometric functions using series. Example: https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc/blob/2e6fb9d8ee0cdf...

…like that author. Emscripten provides a libc implementation based on musl, and so does wasi-libc ( https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc ). If you explicitly list which functions you want to export from your WebAssembly module, the…

Could this work with https://github.com/webassembly/wasi-libc ? It seems like OP put together their own musl-based libc which is awesome, but being able to compile against WASI would open up a lot of possibilities. This also reminds me of…

…slightly more sophisticated than the rest). There wasn't much appetite for any of it on Emscripten. https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc/pulls?q=is%3Apr+opt...

…rewriting the world, this happens to luckily not be quite true, thanks to projects like wasi-libc: https://github.com/webassembly/wasi-libc Networking is actually much more solved in WASI now than it was roughly a year ago -- threads is…

Actually, it was in wasi-libc: https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc/blob/main/libc-bott...

Because it uses WASI which is basically "POSIX for Webassembly". Check out the API: https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc/blob/main/libc-bott... Symlinks, hardlinks, errno, etc. It's not surprising that it's better supported on Unix…

Pretty sure you can build it yourself from https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc given that https://github.com/WebAssembly/wasi-libc/commit/ad5133410f66... is a contribution from a MoCo employee doing a lot of work around toolchains.
