I have been using supervisord ( https://github.com/Supervisor/supervisor ) on alpine and it works great for running different daemon processes. It's lightweight and hasn't ever crashed, highly recommended!

You are correct. But the setup.py for Supervisor noted support for Python 3 starting in May of 2014: https://github.com/Supervisor/supervisor/commit/ad5cd0849a5f... I don't know why PyPI isn't updated yet.
